KATE FORREST - ANIMATOR

I'm a character and creature animator with over six years of industry experience working in games, TV, film and commercials.  Over my career I've been lucky to work on a wide variety of projects with different animation style, pipelines and software as well as having worked in various locations around Australasia and North America.  This wide breadth of experience has allowed me to become highly adaptable to project requirements, stylistic challenges and allows me to feel confident and capable in my abilities to tackle new challenges as they come.

 

Other than animation I am interested in reading, cinema, photography, drawing, field hockey, gaming (console, board, card) ultimate frisbee and travelling.  I'm also into food but that’s on the proviso that someone else is creating it, so more of the hobby of eating than cooking I suppose.

 

I'm currently on the lookout for new work opportunities, both in Australia and abroad. Over the next five years I would particularly like to branch out into more creature animation, wether that be in VFX , games or commercials.  That being said I'm always interested in any projects that allow me to push myself and grow my skills while making a valuable contribution to an animation team.
